When our high school senior stayed home with a cold, she requested lemons, ginger, and honey. Alone these ingredients are powerful but combined they make a potent remedy against a number of ailments.
Fresh Lemon: Great source of Vitamin C, and bioflavonoids (Pain and Repair Guards).
Fresh Ginger and Raw Honey *: Anti-viral, and Anti-imflammatory.

- Slice lemon into quarters and put into a jar.
- Grate ginger to taste and add to the lemon.
- Fill the jar with honey and stir.
Add one tablespoon (or more) to hot water and stir. Enjoy this tasty treat that will help relieve your aches and pains. Breathing a little easier and aiding in digestion are other benefits to this home made remedy. The jar with a lid can stay up to a month in the refrigerator.
